There are many major purchases that we would have to make in preparation for our baby's arrival. These include:
1) baby cot, mattress, bumper
2) baby stroller/pram / carrier
3) baby car seat
4) breast pump (hehe...that's mainly for me to use but for baby's benefit)
5) steriliser
6) baby playmat
and the list goes on......
Other than those items specifically bought for the arrival of baby, there are some household items which long need to be replaced as they have started to fall apart a few years back and we had been procrastinating till now.
a) Washing machine (an erratic machine which works very well on some days and refuse to budge on others)
b) Instant water heater (the one in the common toilet has long been spoilt)
c) Single bed (this is for the confinement nanny)
d) Rice cooker
e) Hot water flask
f) King size bed for us
Seems like the expenditure is endless.
Being first time parents, we were overwhelmed my the variety of choices (and prices) that are currently available in the market. I will deliberate in more detail on each of the item above in the next few posts.
