The checkups are now once every two weeks. My weight has dropped to 54.2kg and the urine dipstick was normal too. I was kinda nervous about this consultation as I have to show him the blood test readings done on days specified by him. If it's not to his satisfaction, then I may have to go for insulin jabs. He's happy that my weight has dropped as this means that I've been successful in controlling my diet. He took a look at my readings and said that I need not go for insulin jabs due to my diligence in doing my tests and keeping the log book of what I ate for the day. Though some readings are beyond the criteria, I'll just need to adjust what I consume next time by avoiding foods that would increase my blood sugar. He noted that my body doesn't take fruits very well and asked me to exclude fruits from my diet totally and supplement with more green leafy vegetables.
Baby princess is growing well as she has gained another 300g to 1.5kg. Dr Ong said that I'm having contractions as he can feel that my tummy is very hard. I didn't realise that and thought that the hardness is due to baby's position. I told him that I experienced it rather frequently sometimes and he told me to monitor closely in case baby wanna come out and see the world early. He performed a check on my cervix and it's ok. The next appointment would be on 11 Sep.
